Our consultant team is supported by Insight. This is a suite of internally developed, class-leading modelling tools, which allows us to quantify the benefits of changes with accuracy and confidence.

For our clients, the advantages of this approach over "black box" software and modelling packages are:
  • Greater clarity of the key assumptions behind any models.
  • Models will be developed to address your specific issues, whereas a standard model will need "adjustment".

Examples of Insight models include:
  1. Network evaluation model, which examines the flows and costs associated with different network configurations.
  2. Cost to serve model, showing the end-to-end costs for different products, clients or modes of transport.
  3. Facility design model, examining the space and manpower requirements for warehouses with different equipment configurations (e.g. different racking types or automation).
  4. Storage Allocation Model (SAM) to identify the best type of storage media for bulk and pick for each SKU.
  5. Inventory Analysis Network (IAN) for practical inventory analysis and simulation modelling.
  6. Resource model, to estimate manpower and equipment requirements.
