Les Beaumont - Project Director
Les Beaumont, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and has a first degree in Geography from the University of Leeds. He has 10 years experience of supply chain consultancy and extensive logistics management experience gained with Whitbread, Cott Beverages, BRS (Exel), Christian Salvesen and MSAS Global Logistics. Since joining Total Logistics, his consultancy experience includes assignments for Claire’s, EDF Energy, Formica, Heinz and The Economist.
Richard Bones - Senior Consultant
Richard Bones, is a chartered engineer with a Masters degree in Engineering Science. He has 8 years operational experience with Unilever and Mars encompassing project engineering, strategy deployment, continuous improvements and operations management. Since joining Total Logistics, Richard has delivered a variety of design and supply-chain strategy projects for clients including ABF, Princes, JD Sports, Cadbury and Infinitas publishing.
Martin Brickell - Project Director
Martin Brickell, has an Honours Degree in Combined Science and an accredited MBA from University of West of England (UWE). He has 16 years experience in production and general management together with programme and project management, encompassing ‘e-commerce fulfilment’, third party logistics and high volume continuous manufacturing. Since joining Total Logistics his experience includes projects for: Wyeth, HK Ruokatalo, Music Box Leisure, Heinz, HEMA, Euro Car Part, Acushnet, Paperchase and adidas.
Bob Gill - Director
Bob Gill, has a degree in Logistics and Transport Management. He has 15 years management experience including working for TNT and Unipart in both operational and strategic planning roles. His project experience with Total Logistics includes relevant assignments for Home Retail Group, Haribo, JD Sports, Pfizer, Unilever, Monsoon, Cemex, Serco, World Duty Free, and TK Maxx. Bob has also recently worked on major strategy projects for adidas and ASDA.
Stuart Hearn - Business Development Manager
Stuart Hearn, has 20 years’ experience in the global supply chain sector including five years at DHL Supply Chain, where he was responsible for the publishing, technology, industrial and public sector markets. Prior to this, he was Key Account Director at logistics software company Teleroute. He spent eight years at DHL Worldwide Express including EMEA development responsibility for the technology sector, based out of the former DHL HQ in Brussels.
Pete Hindley - Senior Consultant
Pete Hindley, has a degree from Bristol University and a diploma in Logistics. He has 8 years logistics experience in the 3PL sector in development, implementation, procurement, and operational roles. Previously with Wincanton, he has worked in a number of European countries in consumer goods, food, retail, industrial, and healthcare sectors. With Total Logistics he has worked on projects for Claire’s, Danisco, Oxford University, Paperchase, Sportmaster, and World Duty Free.
Andy Keith - Director
Andy Keith, is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Engineering Science and Economics, and is a Member of the Institutions of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and a Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport. He has completed a wide range of logistics planning projects for clients in most industry sectors and locations, including assignments for PepsiCo, Shell, Gillette, Nestlé, Tesco, and Premier Farnell.
Ian Kendell - Senior Consultant
Ian Kendell, has a Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield School of Management. He has 18 years’ industrial experience, gained within the materials handling industry, with Daifuku, Chep and Managing Director of Container Centralen UK, after which he worked in consultancy before joining Total Logistics. His consultancy experience includes improving supply chain operations for companies such as Balfour Beatty, Wales and West Utilities, Triumph Motorcycles and CooperVision.
Ingrid Lucas - Senior Consultant
Ingrid Lucas, has a diploma in Structural Engineering and has over 20 years design experience in warehouse systems. She has completed a wide range of implementation, planning and design projects in logistics operations, with particular expertise in order picking systems and automation. Key project experience includes assignments for FarnellinOne, adidas, Asda, TK Maxx, Teorema, Grahams.
Graham Newland - Associate
Graham Newland, has over 17 years’ experience in supply chain management. He has implemented solutions with Uniliever (inc Brooke Bond), Proctor & Gamble, InBev, Pepsico, Diageo, ABF, Nestlé, Princes Foods and Kraft. His ERP systems knowledge spans SAP, Oracle, MFGPro, SSA/Infor, with process knowledge across all supply chain planning areas. Change management projects have included global supply chains at InBev, Pepsico, Nokia, 3M and Proctor & Gamble. He is a guest lecturer at Oxford University on value chain management.
Mike Oliver - Director
Mike Oliver, is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Production Engineering. He has over 20 years experience in logistics consultancy across a wide range of industry sectors, and has worked in many countries in Europe and also in the US and recently in Russia, including projects for Asda, Coty, Acco, BT Cellnet, 3Com, Volkswagen, Pfizer, adidas, Nestle, VVV, Teorema and ENSA.
Gavin Parnell - Project Director
Gavin Parnell, has an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has fifteen years' experience in logistics. He joined TL in 2004 after spending his earlier career in third party distribution. His projects have been in the areas of distribution strategy, warehouse design and automation, transport benchmarking, inventory optimisation and third party tendering. His clients include JD Sports, ASDA, Paperchase, Nestle and Coca Cola Hellenic.
Kenneth Porter - Director
Kenneth Porter, has a first degree in Mathematics and a second degree in Operational Research. He has over 20 years’ consultancy experience in logistics consultancy with Deloitte Consulting and Total Logistics. His project experience includes a focus on pan European logistics for clients such as Hasbro, Nike and Duracell and Arjo Wiggins. Projects at Total Logistics include TK Maxx, Nestlé, Greggs, WH Smith, Argos, Pfizer and Cuisine de France.
Peter Roan - Director
Peter Roan, has a first degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Cranfield. He has 15 years experience of logistics, encompassing implementation of new operations, business improvement and business development with Tibbett & Britten and the BOC Group. His project experience since joining Total Logistics nine years ago includes assignments for Nestlé, Unilever, Premier Farnell, Coca-Cola Hellenic and Paperchase.
Andy Saunders - Senior Consultant
Andy Saunders, has a degree in Transport Management & Planning and is a CILT member. He has over 10 years experience across a range of supply chain disciplines. Andy has held positions within operations, planning, finance and logistics development and has previous consulting experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since joining Total Logistics Andy has delivered assignments for clients including ASDA, Claire’s, Pepsico, UK Greetings, Infinitas, Oxford University, Mercator, EuroCarparts and EDF Energy.
Belinda Scott - Senior Consultant
Belinda Scott, holds a first degree in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University. She has 11 years experience in logistics consulting, including materials handling design, distribution network design, project management and systems implementation, including projects in South Africa and Middle East, covering retail and consumer goods sectors. Since joining Total Logistics her projects include assignments for: W H Smith, PIzensky Prazdroj, McCormick, adidas, Spicers, Schuitema, and fat face.
Mark Steegh - Senior Consultant
Mark Steegh, has degrees in Logistics Management from Nationale Vervoersacademie in Venlo and Technical Engineering from Eindhoven University. He has 12 years logistics experience in solution development and implementation including MHS, project management, operations, security development and implementation in the 3PL sector. Previously with DHL and DSV, he has worked across many sectors including Hi-Tec, food, healthcare and fashion. Since joining TL Mark has worked for CCHBC, Noordhoff Uitgeverijen, Plantyn, Bildungs-Verlag Eins, HEMA, Kruidvat and Danisco.
René Wolters - Project Director
René Wolters, has an MSc in Agricultural Engineering and completed the Designer Course for Logistics Management Systems (MTD). René has extensive experience in all phases of the development and implementation of (automated) material handling solutions. René holds responsibility for Total Logistics’ office in the Netherlands. Relevant projects since joining Total Logistics include assignments for: Komatsu Forest (Valmet-European), HEMA, K-Swiss, University of Amsterdam, Schuitema, Solar, Farm Frites, HK Ruokatalo, Inex and Infinitas Group.
Ben Wright - Project Director
Ben Wright, is a Chartered Engineer, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. He has both operational and senior managerial level experience in manufacturing across a wide variety of industry sectors and has extensive experience in Lean process techniques and supply chain strategies. His project experience with Total Logistics includes assignments for Baxter Healthcare, The Guardian, Kerrygold, United Biscuits, Musgrave, Acco, UK Greetings, Coca-Cola Hellenic and adidas.
