At Total Logistics we use a rigorous recruitment process to ensure the highest quality of consultant is employed. Practical experience is equally as important as technical skills, and the ability to fit in with the existing Total Logistics team is essential. All of our logistics and supply chain consulting staff are required to have hands-on experience; for example in running supply chains, manufacturing sites or working for respected 3PLs. The recruitment process includes several hours of tests, role plays and practical discussions. This commitment to quality in our recruiting policy ensures the best mix of practical experience, logistical best practice and a passion for all things supply chain.

Richard Bones - Project Director
Richard is a chartered engineer with a Masters degree in Engineering Science. He has 8 years operational experience with Unilever and Mars encompassing project engineering, strategy deployment, continuous improvements and operations management. Since joining Total Logistics, Richard has delivered a variety of design and supply chain strategy projects for clients including ABF, Princes, Cadbury and Infinitas publishing.
Martin Brickell - Director
Martin has an Honours Degree in Combined Science and an accredited MBA from University of West of England (UWE). He has 16 years’ experience in production and general management together with programme and project management, encompassing eCommerce fulfilment, third party logistics and high volume continuous manufacturing. Since joining Total Logistics his experience includes projects for Wyeth, HK Ruokatalo, Music Box Leisure, Heinz, HEMA, Euro Car Parts, Acushnet, Paperchase and adidas.
Mike Clayton-Jones - Consultant
Mike has a BA in Philosophy from Lancaster University, and has spent over 5 years working for DHL Supply Chain across a number of contracts, most notably British American Tobacco LLP, Tesco and NHS Supply Chain. His skills range from business analysis, systems management & integration and supplier management, with a strong focus on end-to-end supply chain process changes and impacts.
Corin Ferguson - Senior Consultant
Corin is a professional engineer with 18 years experience designing automated and manual solutions in the logistics industry. He has managed multi-country design projects across Europe, including Russia, for a range of blue chip companies. Formerly with Dematic, FKI Logistex and DHL, some recent clients have included Novo Nordisk, Nike, Samsung, Quicksilver, VW, Auchan, Unilever and P&G. Corin has a degree in Environmental Engineering and Resource Management from Nottingham University.
Bob Gill - Director
Bob has a degree in Logistics and Transport Management. He has 15 years management experience including working for TNT and Unipart in both operational and strategic planning roles. His project experience with Total Logistics includes relevant assignments for adidas, Asda, Brakes, Home Retail Group, Haribo, Pfizer, Unilever, Monsoon, Cemex, Serco, TK Maxx and World Duty Free.
Pete Hindley - Project Director
Pete has a degree from Bristol University and a diploma in Logistics. He has 8 years logistics experience in the 3PL sector in development, implementation, procurement, and operational roles. He has worked in a number of European countries, and across consumer goods, food, retail, industrial, and healthcare sectors. Projects at Total Logistics include Asda, Claire’s, Comet, Danisco, Hoyer, Oxford University, Paperchase, PepsiCo, Sportmaster, Trinity College Dublin, UK Greetings, and World Duty Free.
Matthew Hopkins - Consultant
Matthew holds a BSc in Economics and a Masters in International Management from the University of Reading. He has acquired over five years of operational supply chain experience, working for Sainsbury’s, Unipart and Elekta. His project experience with Total Logistics includes Asda, K+N Food Service, Moy Park, Regatta, Wiggle and Peel Ports.
Andy Keith - Managing Director
Andy is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Engineering Science and Economics, and is a Member of the Institutions of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and a Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport. He has completed a wide range of logistics planning projects for clients in most industry sectors and locations, including assignments for PepsiCo, Shell, Gillette, Nestlé, Tesco, and Premier Farnell.
Annette Livesey - Director
Annette is a graduate in Mathematics and Philosophy from Oxford.
She gained extensive experience of professional consultancy managing major Finance and MIS implementation projects within the IT and Telecom sectors, prior to establishing Total Logistics with Andy Keith.
Ingrid Lucas - Senior Consultant
Ingrid has a diploma in Structural Engineering and has over 20 years design experience in warehouse systems. She has completed a wide range of implementation, planning and design projects in logistics operations, with particular expertise in order picking systems and automation. Key project experience includes assignments for Premier Farnell, adidas, Asda, TK Maxx, Teorema, Grahams.
Frank Maessen - Senior Consultant
Frank holds a BSc in Business Engineering and a Masters in Supply Chain Management from Tilburg University. He has experience designing solutions and implementing projects in spare parts supply chains of high-tech companies, most notably Dell and Philips Healthcare, and wider expertise in network design, process engineering and 3rd party logistics gained with UPS Supply Chain Solutions.
Nishit Nisudan - Senior Consultant
Nishit holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Operations, Projects and Supply Chain Management from the Manchester Business School. During his post-graduate degree he specialised in cashflow management, working on a project aimed at improving cashflow and working capital in a manufacturing firm. He is a certified SAP Supply Chain Consultant and has completed several ERP implementation and support projects. Since joining Total Logistics, he has worked on a wide variety of projects with clients such as Asda, B&M, Haribo, Howdens, Mondelez, the University of Cambridge and PepsiCo.
Mike Oliver - Director
Mike is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Production Engineering. He has over 20 years’ experience in logistics consultancy across a wide range of industry sectors and has worked in many countries around the world. His projects include Asda, Coty, British American Tobacco, Pfizer, adidas, Nestlé, Sportmaster, Shell Lubricants and Mercator.
Stuart Parsons - Senior Consultant
Stuart has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Southampton and 5 years’ supply chain experience with Comet Group. Since joining Total Logistics in 2010, he has worked on a range of projects including DC design, transport modelling, network capacity modelling, DC optimisation, benchmarking, time & motion studies, implementation support, testing programme management & transport, warehouse & equipment tendering. Stuart’s clients include VF Europe, Nespresso, Asda, Euro Car Parts, The White Company, UK Greetings, McCormick, Mercator, Travis Perkins and Brakes.
Jon Porter - Project Director
Jon has over 20 years' experience in supply chain management in the UK, Africa, Belgium, Netherlands, Thailand and Australia. Through Crown Agents and DHL/Exel, he has experience of developing and operating solutions for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients including the NHS, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Smith & Nephew, Sanofi-Aventis, Tyco Healthcare, Novartis and Boehringer Ingelheim. He has particular expertise in operational management, warehouse systems, project and implementation management, inventory management, forecasting and financial control.
Peter Roan - Director
Peter has a first degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Cranfield. He has 15 years’ experience of logistics, encompassing implementation of new operations, business improvement and business development with Tibbett & Britten and the BOC Group. His project experience since joining Total Logistics includes assignments for Nestlé, Unilever, Premier Farnell, Coca-Cola Hellenic and Paperchase.
Belinda Scott - Senior Consultant
Belinda holds a first degree in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University. She has 16 years' experience in logistics consulting, including materials handling design, distribution network design, project management and systems implementation, including projects in South Africa and the Middle East, covering retail and consumer goods sectors. Since joining Total Logistics her projects include assignments for: W H Smith, PIzensky Prazdroj, McCormick, adidas, Spicers, Schuitema, and fat face.
Mark Steegh - Project Director
Mark has degrees in Logistics Management from Nationale Vervoersacademie in Venlo and Technical Engineering from Eindhoven University. He has 12 years logistics experience in solution development and implementation including MHS, project management, operations, security development and implementation in the 3PL sector. Previously with DHL and DSV, he has worked across many sectors including high-tech, food, healthcare and fashion. Since joining TL Mark has worked for CCHBC, Noordhoff Uitgeverijen, Plantyn, Bildungs-Verlag Eins, HEMA, Kruidvat and Danisco.
Bryony Trafford-Smith - HR Manager
Bryony is an Associate member of the CIPD and has over 20 years of experience in the HR field.
Previous companies she has worked for include National Wind Power and Bridgestone Motorsport (UK) Ltd.
Edo van der Poort - Senior Consultant
Edo has a PhD in Operational Research and a MSc in Computing Science from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He has 15 years' experience in both supply chain consultancy and project management. He has successfully completed projects in the agri-food, chemicals, automotive and high-tech sectors, both in the Netherlands and overseas. His areas of expertise include logistics & supply chain studies, operational assessments, warehouse management systems (WMS) & transport management systems (TMS), implementation and project management.
Ben Wright - Director
Ben is a Chartered Engineer, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. He has both operational and senior managerial level experience in manufacturing across a wide variety of industry sectors and has extensive experience in Lean process techniques and supply chain strategies. His project experience with Total Logistics includes assignments for Baxter Healthcare, The Guardian, Kerrygold, United Biscuits, Musgrave, Acco, UK Greetings, Coca-Cola Hellenic and adidas.
